In for a Penny....

...in for a pound.

Two Books! One Week!
Ai! Yi! Yi!

Smart Ass:Close Quarters, from those saucy folks at MLR Press (mwah mwah) is now available at B&N and Amazon! Crikey!

I'm guessing that you all know about Gobsmacked (which makes its official print debut here!) but I thought I'd give a little shout out to Amber Green. This is her first Turner & Turner story and it's called One Good Turn.

When his parents get a gander at the sex tape sent by a blackmailer, they offer Kendall Turner a few weeks of "rest" in a cushy clinic. No, he says, and hotfoots it across the lawns of the family estate. KT isn't his own worst enemy anymore; there's a new candidate for the title. Suddenly, Kendall's on the lam, trying to outrun a murder rap. Helping -- by locking KT naked in their motel room -- is his cousin Turn. KT has some issues: he manages to censor himself only when he lies, he's been in love with cousin Turn since forever, and he really would rather kill himself than get more rest at another clinic.

I should give a signed copy away. I think I will! Let's see...leave me a comment about your favorite smart ass beta and I'll use some scientific..er...method to select a winner.

Ed Note: Examples of Smart Ass Betas are: Adrien English, Mark Meehan, & Prince Peyton Townsend.

Yay! It's book week!

PS All you folks at RT--HAVE FUN!!

You are a busy Lisabea, aren't you?

Hmmm . . . I think my vote for smart ass beta would be JL Langley's Sterling from the With or Without series. Can't wait for him to grow up a little more and his & Rhys' story, Without Fear, to finally get written/come out!

oh wow, it's time for this one to come out already? coooool! More fun for everyone!

Fav smart ass has to be Trouble, Nate's son from My Fair Captain. He cracks me up!

Mine is similar to Sula's, except I'm going with Aiden Townsend (consort to Nick)... specifically from J.L. Langly's short story regarding those two: "you don't need to call me sir". Gives me the chuckles every time I think about it.

JL really does the smart ass beta well, doesn't she? I cannot WAIT for Sterling's book or Trouble's!

I found one!
Christy Morrell from To Love and to Cherish by Patricia Gaffney. Gaffney writes the best Betas ever.
