I was going to post something fun--but we're all sort of traumatized here because our Liddy is missing. I haven't seen her since Friday. We've done the usual things--made calls, knocked on doors, announced on the radio, hiked the woods and fields, searched the ditches--but still no sign of our skinny, fierce, funny little huntress. She's a very committed pet. Her attachment to littlegirl is unwavering--she patiently endured hours of American Girl clothing on her 7 pound frame. My personal favorite has always been the bonnet and the tutu combination. Yes. Little girl is going into high school, but these two really enjoy each other.
Anyway. Feeling a little blue and hoping, hoping, hoping she'll find her way back home.

Oh, I hope Liddy makes it home!
hoping, hoping, hoping she'll find her way back home.
Me too, mate.
**Thinking positive thoughts**
It's such a helpless, empty feeling. Hang in there, Lb.

Oh darlin'. There's nothing worse than that helpless feeling of a pet gone missing. I'm so sorry. Sorry for all of you.
Thinking positive, homeward bound thoughts for Liddy.
I know. I feel like I've compartmentalized this--mostly because one has to--but I keep waiting to hear her at the window at 2am.
Thanks.
Has she done this before? I hope she's okay. ((HUGS))
So you have knocked on doors? Our family cat pulled a stunt like this once. Got into a neighbor's gargage, wiggled into the crawl space and then was too dense to figure out how to get out. Neighbor had to unscrew plywood "door" over crawl space opening for JoJo to make his escape. Sigh.
Here's hoping that Liddy is just hunting or hiding somewhere and will return home soon.
I've got my fingers crossed for her safe return. *hugs*
Oh, sweetie, I sympathize entirely. I hope she returns safely and very soon!
Oh no! I hope Liddy finds her way home very soon...
Hugs to her humans. xo
