News!

Dudleytown is available for Kindle! If you have a second to tag it, maybe it'll move out of the Action Adventure category and folks will be able to find it!

Can you even believe that? Some Action Adventure reader is in for a very manloving surprise when they download Dudleytown onto their Kindle.

Actually. That makes me sort of happy.

Post your reviews as well!

And hey! You can pre-order Mistletoe at Midnight--or find it in the holiday antho His For The Holidays--from Carina Press. The very first review is up on Goodreads (from Chris @ Stumbling Over Chaos) for the antho--and it's five stars, baby.

Excellent collection of four m/m holiday romances. From LB Gregg's trademark madcap romp to Harper Fox's angst-filled tale of a detective inspector possibly beyond redemption, each story shines. Highly recommended and very satisfying read.
Sweet.

Courage.

Kurt is so sweet and hopeful during this scene, it almost hurts to look at him.

Monday.

I almost ordered a dozen cupcakes from Georgetown Cupcakes earlier today--before I lost my phone. And the tree fell across the road. And the power went out. And I missed that 'very important' conference call that G will ask me about later. And a friend acted like a giant douche. And then I realized it was MONDAY WITH A VENGEANCE so I went into town in my pj's to find internet and hot coffee and sugar. Life is good when there is hot coffee and internet (and sugar), even if you are in public with bed head and you're wearing your son's sweats and you're in tears because you're a cry baby.

Mmmmm....coffee.

ON THE BRIGHT SIDE!

1) Saturday I had lunch with KA Mitchell and it was spectacular. Also, I may or may not have had a sneak peek at the book she's working on. Heh. Let's just say that I am in awe.

2) Book sales are picking up! Thanks everyone! A million kisses!

3) Readers like Dudleytown! Here's a nice-nice from Goodreads (I don't look at reviews. Never. **cough**)

LB Gregg should get at least 2 awards for this story.
1) Most inappropriate, but perfectly placed sex scene. No lie, hands down. Fearing for the lives and dirty from all kinds of crud should not be a turn on. But somehow it works.
2) The Hail Mary of getaway plans. I don’t know if this was supposed to be funny or not, maybe its just my weird sense of humor. From the initial discussion to actual execution of the plan, I could see it in my head. The only thing that kept them on track was how desperate they were for it to work. I bet they are all glad Alex played Squash in high school.

So how could I be anything but cheerful when I find that my book worked for readers? Thanks Jaele. :)

4) MOST EXCITING NEWS TO DATE!!!

I'll be in Germany from November 28-Dec 4th. No. I'm not going there to stalk my new secret gay boy friend Dennis Grabosch**. G has things to do--and because he'll be away on his birthday (again) I'm going with him on this business trip.

Germany! Squee! G donated his Rosetta Stone German to me. The man believes in miracles. I believe in the power of German Television to teach me everything I need to know.

Photo proof that I am not stalking Dennis G.

5)And let's not forget that Meljean Brook's The Iron Duke made PW's list for Best books of 2010. YAY MJB!!!!

Hope you all have a Monday filled with bright things! Like electric lights. For example.

:)

Today's Picture

I swiped  borrowed this from Allie at Hyperbole and a half because that's pretty much me today (and yesterday).

And it's been a happy day at the LB homestead--food (and cake), flowers, cards, and many happy returns of the day. *g* Thank you everyone! Still. I can't believe I'm 45 years old. Wow!

NOT A PROBLEM FOR ME AT ALL.

Special shout out to KRIS--My Tim Tams arrived today from Australia. How cool is that? **burp**

BLOGGING AROUND THE TOWN

I'll be at Jessewave's Tuesday November 2nd. Pop by and say hello. You could win something.

That's about it for now. I'm recovering from my debauched few weeks of slacker-tude and am ready to work. It's November--we're all writing.  I just need to find a new wip song...and maybe a plot.
