Kind of a Big Deal

Recently I participated in Suzanne Brockmann's virtual signing for her latest Troubleshooters installment Breaking the Rules. My book arrived yesterday and the most exciting thing--other than the neat To LB Gregg -- was the bonus story Brockmann included with every pre-order.

Cool beans.

 One of the things I love about Brockmann is her ability to make some of her most unlikeable characters worthy of a happy ending you not only believe in, but you root for as well. It's reader gold. She's so deft at turning the tables.  WTMA is Adam's book. He's that cheating dick-headed ex of the incomparable, the perfect, the original BFF-- Jules Cassidy. I can't wait to dive into this book and really get to know Adam.

 And not to be juvenile, but there's explicit man sex in this wee book. That's astonishingly brave of Brockmann--or maybe, the time has finally arrived.  It's still a very big deal, even if it's a very small book. And only in e. *g*

When Tony Met Adam releases (Ballentine e-Books) this June.

And Tony is from Connecticut. I'm super excited!

~~~***~~~
In other news-after posting a very interesting photo of himself smoking a hookah in Singapore, as well as a rollicking video of a very flexible belly dancer, G has gone to Tibet--which I totally did not know. I'm still not clear where exactly he is, but there is no internet there!  He calls me for five minutes and we try to catch up.  He says he's in Shangri-La, but surely that's the thin air talking. Earlier, he hiked with his group (read: stumbled and gasped) at 12,000 feet above sea level. The scenery was divine. They dined on something called crispy (crunchy?) 'intestinal' for breakfast. Maybe he misunderstood. I hope he misunderstood. It sounds like chitlins to me, but what do I know? Last night there was no heat in the hotel and he was given a can of oxygen to suck on as he walked. Or slept. Or ate intestines.
I can't wait to travel more with G. Good times.
Tomorrow night he heads back to Hong Kong where there is internet, heat, and air. Also food with or without 'intestinal'.  Which of these items is the most important?  I'm going with internet.
Happy Saturday!
